'Thermal Silver' CD Printing

Thermal silver CD printing is the most recognized and classic type of CD print. This method involves printing black directly onto a silver or mirror CD, making it perfect for text, simple logos, or any design that uses solid black color. Instead of ink, thermal printing uses heat to transfer black material onto the disc, resulting in a cost-effective, fast, and efficient product.

'Colour Gloss' CD Printing

Standard Colour CD printing is the most popular, modern type of CD print. This method involves printing CCMMYK sequence printing directly onto the CD, making it perfect for colours, photograph or any design that uses colours. UV Gloss Coating is a highly reccomended add-on for Standard Colour CDs, available at checkout. It provides a Water/Scratch/Fade proof finish for a glossy and premium look & feel

'Vinyl Style' CD Printing

The Vinyl Style CD, often used for special editions and collector’s items, mimics a vinyl record with realistic embossed grooves in black plastic and a fully printable centre. We print directly onto the disc in full colour, no labels! This unique, classic design is perfect for classic / special releases. Please note, these are standard CDs and cannot be played on vinyl record players.

Which Can I Choose Finishing?

Our standard colour CDs can have the UV Coating option. For a small extra fee we highly recommend you choose this. This will make your CD glossy and will protect the print against water and smudges. It also gives your CDs that professional commercial look and feel.

What Is Finishing?

Finishing (UV Coating) is the process of a thin layer being applied to the printed surface of the CD. this process ensures your CD print is protected making it water and fade proof. It also provides a glossy and smooth finish for a professional look & feel.

Should I Choose Finishing?

Finishing is an optional extra for Standard Colour CDs. If you are looking for a professional, commercial grade & fully finished product, choose UV coating. If you are on a budget and are not too bothered of the finish, durability of the print, choose Uncoated.
