Standard Colour CD Printing
Standard Colour CD printing is the most popular, modern type of CD print. This method involves printing CCMMYK sequence printing directly onto the CD, making it perfect for colours, photograph or any design that uses colours. UV Gloss Coating is a highly reccomended add-on for Standard Colour CDs, available at checkout. It provides a Water/Scratch/Fade proof finish for a glossy and premium look & feel
Metallic Colour CD Printing
Metallic Colour CD printing is a brand new and unique kind of CD print. This method involves printing CCMMYK sequence UV printing on a making it perfect any vibrant/solid colours. Metallic CDs are exclusive to DiskCrafters, Ideal for vibrant colours, they look breathtaking with their metallic and ultra high gloss finish, making beautiful reflections against light. These are not ideal for faint/light colours since these colours can be lost in the metallic finish.

Which CDs Require Finishing?
1. Metallic CDs: MUST Include Finishing. Therefore it is included by default for no extra fee.
2. Standard Colour CDs are RECCOMENDED to have finishing. It is a optional extra during checkout.
3. Thermal Silver: Cannot/Does not require finishing

What Is Finishing?
Finishing (UV Coating) is the process of a thin layer being applied to the printed surface of the CD. this process ensures your CD print is protected making it water and fade proof. It also provides a glossy and smooth finish for a professional look & feel.

Should I Choose Finishing?
Finishing is an optional extra for Standard Colour CDs. If you are looking for a professional, commercial grade & fully finished product, choose UV coating. If you are on a budget and are not too bothered of the finish, durability of the print, choose Uncoated.
