What Are Mixed Mode (Enhanced) CDs?

At DiskCrafters, we believe adding extra content to your CD shouldn't mean paying extra. That's why we do not charge any additional fees for creating Enhanced (Mixed Mode) CDs.
Whether your disc includes music videos, digital booklets, photos, PDFs, website links, or other computer-accessible content, you'll pay the same price as you would for a standard CD of the same specification.
This makes Enhanced CDs an affordable way to add value to your release, giving your audience access to additional content without increasing your production costs.
The maximum capacity of a standard CD is 700MB, which is equivalent to approximately 80 minutes of audio.
When creating an Enhanced CD, the audio tracks and data content share the same 700MB of available space. To work out how much room is available for your files, first calculate the size of the audio portion of the disc.
For example, if your audio tracks occupy around 350MB of the CD's capacity, you would have approximately 350MB remaining for data files such as videos, images, PDFs, websites, software, or other content.
Remember that the more audio you include, the less space will be available for data, and vice versa. If you're unsure whether your project will fit on a single disc, simply send us your files and we'll be happy to advise.
